Eddie Van Halen has posted a photo of himself in the studio, leading to speculation from fans that something is up in the Van Halen camp.
The image did not include any comment or indication of what the photo represents, as there’s been no news from the band regarding any recording or new release plans to date.
The group are resuming their “A Different Kind Of Truth” tour this year with shows in Australia, Japan, and a just-announced date at Wisconsin’s Rock USA festival in July – get more details here.
Van Halen recently made Billboard magazine's "Music's Top 40 Money Makers 2013" list, compiled by measuring touring revenue, music sales, publishing royalties and other streaming and on-demand figures over the past 12 months.
The band came in at #4 at $20.1 million, drawing more than a half-million fans in 2012; impressive numbers considering 32 shows were cancelled due to Eddie’s surgery for Diverticulitis.
