Roth joined singer Teddy Swims for a performance of the Van Halen classic, “Jump”, during his set on April 10.
Roth followed Joe Jonas and Vanessa Carlton as Swims’ third and final guest during his afternoon appearance.
The Van Halen rocker is launching his North American tour this week, with dates booked into early August.
The series will open in Airway Heights, WA on April 16, with shows currently booked into early August.
The rocker performed throughout the past year, which began with Roth sharing news that he would be releasing a box set, “The Warner Recordings 1985-1994”, via Rhino Records.
The package includes the first five solo releases by Roth following his departure from Van Halen, starting with the “Crazy From The Heat” EP; the set was an immediate success thanks to the lead single and cover of the Beach Boys’ classic, “California Girls” – which scored the singer a US Top 3 hit – as well as a series of videos from the set earning high rotation in the MTV years.
The era also included the albums “Eat 'Em and Smile” (1986), “Skyscraper” (1988), “A Little Ain’t Enough” (1991), and “Your Filthy Little Mouth” (1994).
