20 days of Pearl Jam: Day 2

Yesterday, Pearl Jam launched a “20 Days of Pearl Jam Countdown” leading up to the release of the “Pearl Jam Twenty” film and soundtrack on September 20.

“Pearl Jam Twenty” as billed as the definitive portrait of the band as told by Academy Award-winning filmmaker and music journalist Cameron Crowe.

Each day from September 1 through 20, Pearl Jam will offer fans an exclusive piece of content (audio, video, or literary).

Day 2 is an update on the band’s PJ20 Destination Weekend, happening September 3 and 4 in Alpine Valley, Wisconsin; PJ will be joined by The Strokes, Queens Of The Stone Age, Mudhoney and almost 10 other acts.

The band are keeping fans updated on the Alpine Valley scene with a special Twitter feed set up by promoters Live Nation….stay in touch on things by clicking here.

Last fall, hennemusic marked the actual 20th anniversary of the band’s first show by posting the full gig here; below is one of the tracks…click the link to see the whole set.
