VIDEO: Bruce Springsteen joins Bob Seger on stage in New York

Bob Seger played Santa Claus to his fans Thursday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.

"Just because you've been good little boys and girls this year we have a little Christmas treat for you," Seger told the crowd. "Mr. Bruce Springsteen!"

The New York crowd reacts with huge applause and a round of “Bruuuuuuuuuuce!” before the two rock legends kick into Seger’s classic, "Old Time Rock & Roll."

Springsteen’s visit was surprisingly early in the show, as The Boss played on only the fifth song of the night, following opening numbers “Roll Me Away,” “Tryin’ To Live My Life Without You,” “The Fire Down Below” and "Mainstreet."
