Van Halen scores 7th week atop the hennemusic Hot 10

Van Halen lead the hennemusic Hot 10 for an unprecedented 7th straight week.

Currently out on the road in support of their new album “A Different Kind Of Truth,” Van Halen continue to be front and center for hennemusic readers – ever since the calendar flipped into 2012, as a matter of fact.

Topping this week’s HH10 is the continuing story of Sammy Hagar’s bitterness towards his former band, guys he hasn’t been in contact – or played – with, in 8 years. His latest in a series of slams includes nasty comments about the few new VH songs he claims he’s heard, despite the fact that he said last fall that he’d be the first in line to buy the record.

The HH10 is a list of the most-viewed rock news stories in the past week by hennemusic readers.
