Van Halen tops the hennemusic Hot 10

Van Halen news tops this week’s hennemusic Hot 10.

After a 15-year wait, rock fans are waiting for the band’s recording reunion with David Lee Roth to happen, but it looks like that music won’t be released until early next year.

The public will get their first visual on VH 2011 at the Grammy Nominations Concert on October 30, but they won’t be playing; they’re showing up to tell folks to tune in when the play the actual Grammys on February 12.

In the meantime, there’s lots of talk about the VH situation – from pending record deal announcement (rumors say it’s Interscope instead of Columbia) to single and album news, and the behind the scenes process of making the new album.

This week’s #1 on the hennemusic Hot 10 features comments by former VH bassist Michael Anthony and his fellow Chickenfoot drummer Kenny Aronoff, who spoke about tensions in the group during the sessions.

See what Aronoff had to say in this week’s #1 story below.
