The Red Hot Chili Peppers were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland on Saturday.
The Class Of 2012 also included Guns N’ Roses, The Beastie Boys, The Small Faces/The Faces, Donovan and Laura Nyro.
The Peppers took some time out of their current North American tour in support of their latest album, “I’m With You,” to attend the Cleveland event.
The group performed a 4-song set that included “By The Way,” “The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie,” and “Give It Away,” which included former Pepper drummers Jack Irons and Cliff Martinez jamming along.
The finale featured an all-star jam on “Higher Ground,” as Slash, Ronnie Wood, George Clinton and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong joined in on the action.
The 27th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will premiere on HBO on Saturday, May 5th (9:00-11:30 p.m. EST/PST).
