Oasis to release Definitely Maybe 20th anniversary edition

Oasis will release a 20th anniversary edition of their 1994 debut, “Definitely Maybe”, on May 20.

“Definitely Maybe” introduced Oasis to the world with singles like “Supersonic”, “Shakermaker”, “Live Forever” and “Rock N Roll Star”, helping the album sell more than 15 million copies worldwide. It was the fastest-selling debut album of all time in the UK when it was released and went on to be certified 7x Platinum (2.1 million+ sales) in the band’s home country.

The reissue will be available as a standard CD and digital download of the original album; a three-disc Special Edition version including rare recordings and demos; a 12" vinyl LP featuring all the bonus CD content as a free download; and a Deluxe Box Set which features the LP and the CDs.

In addition, limited edition cassette replicas of the band's rare “Original 1993 Demos”, are available at www.oasisnet.com, including new sleeve notes from “Definitely Maybe” producer Mark Coyle.

The "Definitely Maybe" project is the first in the new Chasing The Sun series from Big Brother Recordings, who will reissue Oasis's follow-up albums, 1995’s “What's The Story (Morning Glory)?” and 1997’s “Be Here Now” later this year.
