Bruce Springsteen: Chapter And Verse debuts on US charts

Bruce Springsteen’s latest album, “Chapter And Verse”, has debuted on the US album charts.

The collection of unreleased and classic tracks that doubles as an audio companion to the New Jersey’s rocker’s memoir, “Born To Run”, enters the US Billboard 200 at No. 5 with opening week sales of 29,000 units (27,000 in traditional album sales), according to Billboard.

Springsteen’s 19th top 10 album opens with five unreleased songs from his early days, including two from The Castiles, one each from Steel Mill and The Bruce Springsteen Band, and a solo studio track from 1972 – all prior to the release of his 1973 debut, “Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J.”

“Chapter And Verse” is available as a single CD and double LP, as well as via digital download.

The singer is currently promoting the project and his memoir with a 9-city book tour that started in Freehold, NJ on September 27.
