The Who announce Las Vegas residency

The Who have announced the first series of dates for a residency this summer at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV.

As part of the 4th year of the band’s farewell tour, Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend will launch a six-date run at the venue starting July 29, with five shows scheduled for early August…and more to be announced.

Who Fan Club Members can access pre-sale tickets starting March 14 at 10am PT, with general public seats going on sale March 17 at noon PT.

$1 from each ticket sold will benefit Teen Cancer America.

The Who will resume their farewell trek with a seven-date UK tour late this month that starts with a pair of unique shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The band will perform a new acoustic presentation of their 1969 rock opera, “Tommy”, to celebrate the 100th show performed for the Teenage Cancer Trust while raising vital money for young people with cancer.

The March 30 and April 1 concerts will mark the first full band performance of the classic album since 1989.

The Who rescheduled its fall 2016 UK tour dates to follow the Royal Albert Hall concerts. Tickets for the shows originally scheduled for last August and September will be valid for the new shows.
