Guns N’ Roses to release vinyl debut of Greatest Hits

Guns N’ Roses will release the debut vinyl edition of their 2004 “Greatest Hits” collection on September 25.

The original 14-song set has been expanded with the addition of the band’s 2018 single, “Shadow Of Your Love,” which was originally recorded in December 1986 and saw its debut on the 2018 box set reissue of their 1987 debut, “Appetite For Destruction.”

In 2004, “Greatest Hits” reached No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 and in 2007 hit No. 1 on the Catalog Albums chart; the package delivers all eight of the band’s Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 tracks, spans the group’s first five album releases and includes their cover of The Rolling Stones “Sympathy For The Devil”, recorded for the 1995 film “Interview With The Vampire.”

Previously only available digitally and on CD, “Greatest Hits” will be pressed as a 2LP set on 180gram audiophile black vinyl, a 2LP set on gold colored vinyl with red and white splatter, plus a 2LP picture disc available exclusively through the band’s official store.

This week, Guns N’ Roses announced rescheduled dates for their recently-postponed North American tour; the series will begin next July.
