The song has passed a billion views on the streaming service.

The lead single from “Dynasty” topped the charts in a few countries while peaking at No. 11 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Upon its release, the 1979 album caused controversy among fans of KISS’ original rock era due to the disco-inspired single and other portions of the project; the New York group suffered through a years-long struggle to return to the charts, with its next three releases – “Unmasked”, “Music From The Elder” and “Creatures Of The Night” – only reaching US Gold status before the band removed its makeup for the 1983 album, “Lick It Up.”

KISS members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons will be among the artists to be inducted into the 2026 Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
The pair will be recognized alongside Walter Afanasieff, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, and Taylor Swift as the latest inductees set to be be honored at the organization’s 2026 Induction and Awards Gala.
These legendary songwriters are credited with mega-hits such as “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” “Hand In My Pocket,” “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Footloose,” “Single Ladies,” and “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).”
The awards event is slated for Thursday, June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, and will not be open to the general public; additional special award honorees will be announced soon.

KISS unleashed "Alive!" on September 10, 1975. The album drew on performances from five nights of the Dressed To Kill Tour: Cobo Arena in Detroit, MI, Cleveland Music Hall in Cleveland, OH, RKO Orpheum Theatre in Davenport, IA (two shows), and Wildwood Convention Hall in Wildwood, NJ.
Upon release, it added rocket fuel to the band's ascent to the top of rock 'n' roll and culture in the seventies. "Alive!" reached the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 and sent "Rock And Roll All Nite" to No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 - the highest charting single for the band at the time - and was their first album to be certified Gold by the RIAA.
The 2025 edition of "Alive!" will be available in multiple configurations, including Super Deluxe 4CD + Blu-ray Audio, Super Deluxe 8LP + Blu-ray Audio, Deluxe Picture Disc Vinyl, Premium Color Vinyl, Super Deluxe Digital. Alive! has been newly remastered in HRA 192/24, HRA 96/24, or 44.1/16, and Atmos.
Bernie Grundman’s new remaster of "Alive!" is included in all of the aforementioned 50th Anniversary versions as well, while also marking the first time that "Alive!" has been released on one-CD.
The Super Deluxe box sets (4CD + Blu-ray and 8LP + Blu-ray) impressively include 120 tracks highlighted by 88 unreleased tracks. As part of the collection, fans can relive two entire concerts from the 1975 Dressed To Kill Tour: RKO Orpheum Theatre in Davenport, Iowa on July 20 (Second Show) and Wildwood Convention Hall in Wildwood, New Jersey on July 23.
For the Super Deluxe box sets, Eddie Kramer has completed new mixes of these particular gigs, revisiting the original multi-track analog tapes and preserving the raw integrity of the performances with no overdubs.
Among other highlights, you’ll find five rehearsal tracks from Davenport as well as six songs from Cleveland Music Hall in Cleveland, OH on June 21, 1975—also just mixed by Kramer this year.
Then, there’s the Blu-ray Audio disc comprising Kramer’s newly mixed "Alive!" in Dolby Atmos and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround along with the newly remastered stereo in 192kHz 24-bit and 96kHz 24-bit PCM stereo

KISS members are paying tribute to Ace Frehley following his October 16 passing at the age of 74.
The lead guitarist suffered injuries and complications after having a fall in his home recording studio that resulted in treatment in hospital.
Frehley was the last member to join KISS upon its formation in New York in 1973, alongside Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons and Peter Criss.
"We are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley," shared KISS in a statement. "He was an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history. He is and will always be a part of KISS's legacy. Original KISS lead guitarist Ace Frehley has died at the age of 74.
The news comes after Frehley made headlines recently when he "had a minor fall in his studio" that resulted "in a trip to the hospital”, according to his spokeperson, who later shared an update: "Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates."
Earlier today, TMZ reported Frehley was hospitalized on life support after he suffered a brain bleed as a result of the studio accident.
Ace's social media team broke the news, posting: "ATTENTION: "Ace Frehley, GRAMMY® Award nominated and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducted rock guitarist; and iconic founding member of KISS, died today at age 74. Frehley passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Morristown, New Jersey, following a recent fall at his home.

Frehley was the last member to join KISS following a late 1972 audition in the band's home of New York City. Known as The Spaceman, the rocker appeared on nine KISS studio albums - from the self-titled 1973 record to 1981's "Music From The Elder" - during his original term.
The guitarist left the group in 1982 and started his solo career in 1984, where he toured and issued one album before reuniting with KISS in 1996 for a multi-year reunion tour - and, later, the "Psycho Circus" album - before resuming his solo work in 2003.
Frehley released six albums between 2009 and 2024 while continuing to tour; he had been working on a new album at the time of his passing.
Gene Simmons is recovering from a car crash Tuesday afternoon on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA.
According to NBC4 Los Angeles, the incident just before 1 p.m. saw the rocker’s Lincoln Navigator crash into a parked car, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department told NBC4 Investigates.
A witness called 911 and deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
Simmons, 76, was speaking with first responders, authorities said; he told deputies he passed out or fainted, then hit the parked car, the sheriff's department said.
Following being checked in and out of hospital, wife Shannon Tweed told NBC4 Investigates that Simmons is recovering at home. She said doctors recently changed his medications and that he needs to drink more water -- something of which he's not a fan.
Simmons posted an update on his condition on Wednesday, saying “Thanks, everybody, for the kind wishes. I’m completely fine. I had a slight fender bender. It happens. Especially to those of us were horrible drivers. And that’s me. All is well.”

Billed as KISS Army Storms Vegas, the November 14–16 weekend event at Virgin Hotel Las Vegas will see Stanley and Simmons deliver an unmasked electric show in honor of the 50th anniversary of its fan club, the KISS Army.

antiMusic reports KISS has emailed fans with some details about their plans to reunite for an performance at a special event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the KISS Army and will include former guitarist Bruce Kulick and other special guests.
The band has not yet officially made a public announcement about the event that will be entitled KISS Army Storms Las Vegas, but an email blast about the November 14th through 16th event was reportedly sent to fans that signed up for updates on their official website KISSOnline.com.
Kulick is set to deliver a special live performance at the event, according to the blast that promises that the full schedule of activities will be announced soon.
Among the details announced is ticket information for KISS Army members, with general public tickets to go on sale on April 7.

KISS has sold its brand name, image, likeness, music catalog rights and more in a newly-announced deal with Swedish entertainment and music investment firm Pophouse.
Known for its role in launching the groundbreaking ABBA Voyage show in London – with plans to move forward with a similar KISS avatar show in 2027– Pophouse has acquired KISS’ artist share of the master recordings and publishing rights, as well as the band’s IP.
While financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed, Fortune reports the landmark agreement is worth $300 million.

The family of a KISS guitar tech who died while quarantining in 2021 after contracting Covid during the band’s End of the Road World Tour is suing for wrongful death, according to a lawsuit reviewed by Rolling Stone.
Catherine Stueber, whose husband Fran had served as guitar tech for Paul Stanley for decades, filed the suit in Los Angeles on Wednesday along with several members of her family, claiming both negligence and wrongful death.
KISS founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, their longtime manager Doc McGhee, the tour’s promoter Live Nation, and hotel chain Marriott International were all named as defendants.
“As a direct and proximate result of the dangerous condition created by Defendants,” the suit said, “Decedent suffered fatal injuries and Plaintiffs suffered damages, including, but not limited to funeral and burial expenses, the permanent deprivation of the love, companionship, affection, solace, society, comfort, assistance, services and financial contributions, and moral support of Decedent in an amount according to proof at trial.”
Reps for the band, Live Nation, and Marriott didn’t immediately respond to request for comment.
Fresh off their final concert in Australia this past week, KISS will begin a final run of North American shows next week that will see the group bring their live career to an end at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 2.

The band delivered a three-song mini-set before more than 100,000 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where they played “I Was Made for Lovin' You”, “Shout It Out Loud” and “Rock and Roll All Nite.”
According to Sky News, KISS were a late inclusion to the AFL’s biggest day after Crowded House pulled out just under two months out from the event.

KISS will perform their last Australian concert in Sydney on October 7, after which they’ll play a show in Dubai, UAE and then begin a final North American series of The End Of The Road farewell tour, which will bring their live career to an end at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 2.

KISS has added three new US concert dates to their End Of The Road farewell tour.
The band will now perform in Crandon, WI on September 1, Cincinnati, OH on October 19, and Clevelend, OH on October 22.
A KISS Army presale for the new dates begins Monday, June 5 at 10am local time, with general public tickets available Friday, June 9 at 10am local time.
KISS will resume the farewell series when they open a summer leg in Birmingham, UK on June 5.
“KISS was born in New York City. On 23rd Street. Half a century ago,” said the band recently. “It will be a privilege and honor to finish touring at Madison Square Garden, 10 blocks and 50 years from where we first started!”

KISS has announced details for what will be their final farewell tour concert in Australia.
“We are thrilled to announce one epic and monumental Australian farewell show – THE FINAL CURTAIN - exclusively at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on Saturday, October 7th!,” says the band. “The Final Curtain show was initiated via a national petition, with KISS ARMY Australia pleading for us to return to play one more show in Australia before bringing our touring career to an end with our final-ever performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 2, 2023.
“You have made your voices loud enough that it was impossible for us not to hear you! We are overwhelmed by your petitions and calls for one last KISS so we are now announcing that The End Of The Road will detour one last time to Sydney for a final bombastic farewell. As unexpected as this is for us, we will make it unforgettable for all who share the night with us.”
KISS ARMY Pre-sale tickets will be available from 2:00pm (local time) Monday, May 29 and General Public tickets go on sale at 12:00pm (local time) Wednesday. May 31. KISS Ultimate & VIP packages also go on sale at the same time.
Following a recent performance at Ohio’s Sonic Temple festival, KISS will resume the End Of The Road farewell tour with a series of shows in the UK and Europe; the summer leg is set to begin in Birmingham, UK on June 5.
