"'Turnaround Situation' came from realizing that every time I ignored my conscience, life seemed to fall apart in one way or another,” says Jon Davison. “I've taken the wrong road before. Most people have. There's always a temporary thrill in it, but eventually it catches up with you.
"Writing this song was part confession, part redemption. Ultimately, the song is meant to capture that feeling of finally being at peace with yourself -when, by choosing the high road, you stop fighting what you know deep down is right. The strange thing is, the right road is usually the harder one. It demands more from you. But in the end, it gives something back too: clarity, self-respect, and a kind of inner freedom. I think that's what everyone's really chasing underneath it all."

Yes have just released an expanded and remastered edition of their 2019 mini-album, “From A Page”, via Mercury Studios.
The iconic band revisits their 2019 four‑song mini‑album in a 15‑song double album and 2CD Deluxe Edition, pairing the original tracks with alternate takes and demos recorded during the sessions, several of which would later surface on “Fly From Here.”
In 2010, after a last-minute show in Zacatecas, Mexico, the band (Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White, Benoit David & Oliver Wakeman) met up in Phoenix, Arizona to begin writing for the next Yes album. This two-week session would bear fruit to the 4 released songs in addition to "Into the Storm", "Hour of Need" & "The Man You Always Wanted Me To Be", all of which would appear on the “Fly From Here” album featuring Geoff Downes after Wakeman departed during the recording sessions.
Overseen by Oliver Wakeman, and mixed and remastered by Karl Groom, this expanded and remastered edition of “From A Page” incorporates the original 4 songs, along with alternate keyboard versions of 3 songs from “Fly From Here”, featuring Oliver Wakeman's keyboard parts from the original writing sessions replacing the keyboard parts added by Geoff.
Disc 1 also features the studio version of the Chris Squire-written song "Aliens", which was played during the 2008 'In The Present' tour, to create the album which was envisioned prior to Trevor Horns arrival.
Disc 2 includes demo versions of many of the songs, including "Updraft", which became the basis for the 'Army of Angels' section of "Into The Storm", "Don't Take No For An Answer", which was not on the original album but worked on during the sessions, along with an acoustic alternative version of "Words on a Page" and the single mix of "To The Moment", which was previously only available on the original vinyl.

Work on Aurora began almost as soon as the 'Classic Tales of Yes' tour ended in 2024. Downes and Howe often acted as the central creative axis, with Howe, as producer, serving as the point through which all ideas eventually flowed.

“The upcoming Yes ‘Fragile’ UK and EU Tour, due to commence on 22nd April, has had to be postponed as guitarist Steve Howe requires an essential operation that requires recovery time,” shared the band. “This decision has been made to ensure that Steve can return to the stage in full health and deliver the performances that fans deserve.
“We are working hard to reschedule the UK and EU shows to a later date, with full details to be announced after Easter. Please retain your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Tour dates currently being arranged for later in 2026 will proceed as planned.

The band recorded the original version of “Fly from Here” during breaks in touring in 2010 and 2011, and they enlisted former Yes frontman Trevor Horn as producer.
Upon its 2011 release, the original record peaked at No. 30 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 36 on the US Billboard 200.
The alternative version of the album – titled “Fly From Here – Return Trip” – features the classic “Drama”-era line-up who were reunited in 2018 to create a new version featuring all new vocals from Trevor Horn plus new instrumental parts, alongside a more organic mix highlighting Chris Squire's unique voice and bass contributions as well as additional parts from Steve Howe and Geoff Downes.

This week, Yes launched The Fragile Tour 2025, The Album Series; the trek will see the iconic progressive rock outfit perform their iconic 1971 album, “Fragile”, in its entirety along with other classics cuts from their legendary body of work.

The trek will see the iconic progressive rock outfit perform their iconic 1971 album, “Fragile”, in its entirety along with other classics cuts from their legendary body of work.
The multi-platinum album features their signature songs "Roundabout," "Long Distance Runaround," and "Heart of the Sunrise."“Fragile" – the band's fourth studio album, was released in the UK in November 1971 and in the US in January 1972. The "Fragile Tour" is regarded as a key moment is Yes' history-it's when the band became a headline act in the US.
"All the band's albums had a unique feel and approach," says Steve Howe. "After 'The Yes Album,' so many things came together, with [co-producer] Eddie Offord steering the proceedings. While the band focused on only four main songs with full arrangements, each of us wrote and designed a solo piece, which was Bill [Bruford]'s great idea. It's fairly 'odd-ball,' but we were at the height of our creativity, determined for success." Howe adds: "It gave us confidence, further than our own in-stock belief, we'd crafted this unusual but noticeable musical twist to rock and what later became prog."
"Fragile" also marks the band's first album to be designed by Roger Dean; he would also design many of Yes' future album covers, the band's logo, and live stage sets. This striking union of music and design is key in how Yes' sound and vision would be perceived; it also underlined how important artistic visuals were becoming in the rock world.
On "The Fragile Tour 2025," Yes will perform in front of a video wall featuring AI treatment of Dean's art, bringing Yes' art into the 2020s. Roger Dean art will be available in the merch area at all the shows.
"Roger was and is quintessential to the look of Yes," notes Howe. "He's still creating great paintings and design – he has no competition."

This definitive version comprises 5 CDs, 1 LP, and a Blu-ray. A newly remastered version of the original “Close to the Edge” graces both CD-1 and LP; the Blu-ray houses 2025 mixes by Steven Wilson in Dolby ATMOS and 5.1 Mix DTS-HD MA for the very first time; Wilson’s remix and instrumentals also adorn CD-2. An unearthed bevy of rare and previously unreleased recordings for the Super Deluxe Edition is featured on disc 3, and a 1972 live show on discs 4 and 5.

Part of the =1 More Time Tour, the month-long series will begin August 14 in Hollywood, FL, with the schedule wrapping up in Scranton, PA on September 8.

Deep Purple recently released an expanded Super Deluxe Edition of its 1972 album classic, “Machine Head.”
The 3-CD/LP/Blu-ray set delivers multiple versions of the album, including new stereo and Dolby Atmos mixes by Dweezil Zappa; a 1974 quadraphonic mix and a newly remastered version of the original album are also featured, and the package is rounded out with two live performances from the era.
In the liner notes, Zappa says: “It’s one of those records where I think, ‘How did they come up with this?’ It’s got classical influences in the guitar and the keyboard, but then it’s got the blues and there’s little bits of funkiness. And you have this singer who has the most killer voice. All these things come together in a way where it doesn’t sound like commercial music, yet people got really excited about it. Yes will release an expanded 30th anniversary edition of its 1994 album, “Talk”, on May 24.
Originally launched with the lead single, “The Calling”, the 14th studio set followed the band’s “Union” album and tour, which saw eight members of the iconic prog rock outfit reunite.
The music and lyrics for "Talk" were written mainly by guitarist Trevor Rabin and singer Jon Anderson, who says it is his favorite album from the Rabin-era.
"It was just a beautiful time for me and Trev,” explains Anderson. “It was a very harmonious experience for me."
However, things changed behind the scenes when Victory Music, the original label, went bankrupt shortly after the album's release, and “Talk” was essentially abandoned in music industry circles as Yes moved forward with a successful series of live dates in North America, South America and Japan.
It would be the last time Trevor Rabin would play with Yes as a full-time member.
To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Spirit of Unicorn Music will reissue the album as a 4CD Deluxe Edition featuring bonus studio material and a previously-unreleased live show from New York, new interview with the principal players by renowned writer Jerry Ewing, a 2-LP limited edition white vinyl set and a single CD.
Yes will release a limited edition of “Mirror To The Sky” on April 5.
The 2CD+Blu-ray Digipak package will feature the full studio album, plus the blu-ray including Dolby Atmos, 5.1 Surround Sound & Instrumental Mixes of the record.
The 2023 album was produced by guitarist Steve Howe.
"This is a very important album for the band," said Howe last year. "We kept the continuity in the approach we established on ‘The Quest’, but we haven't repeated ourselves. That was the main thing. As Yes did in the seventies from one album to another, we're growing and moving forward. In later years, Yes often got going but then didn't do the next thing. This album is demonstrative of us growing and building again."
In sync with news of the Digipack edition, Yes has issued an edited lyric video for “Mirror To The Sky”, which runs about half the length of the original, 13-minute version featured on the 2023 album.
The limited edition will arrive just prior to the launch of The Classic Tales of Yes Tour 2024, which will open in Lisbon, Portugal on April 30 and see the group mix iconic tracks from their catalog alongside a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of “Tales from Topographic Oceans” as well as music from “Mirror To The Sky.”
Following their recent acclaimed tour in the USA, progressive rock legends Yes have announced European dates for The Classic Tales of Yes Tour 2024.
The series - which will open in Lisbon, Portugal on April 30 - will mix iconic tracks from the Yes catalog alongside a celebration of the 50th Anniversary of “Tales from Topographic Oceans” as well as music from their current album, “Mirror To The Sky.”
Yes are Steve Howe (guitars, vocals), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals and acoustic guitar), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar, vocals) and drummer Jay Schellen.
The evening will begin with an on-site presentation by world-renowned artist and designer Roger Dean, whose masterful artwork of striking other-worldly landscapes has graced classic album covers and posters, most prominently by Yes and Asia. Every show will feature a Roger Dean gallery in the venue’s reception/foyer area; his work has sold more than one hundred million copies worldwide.
“We're all excited to be bringing our show home to Europe and the UK!” says Howe. “We've selected a new playlist of Yes music but with some firm favourites in there too, of course! To keep our performances fresh, we 'now' carry our own lights, so we can present a consistent show each night, designed for us by William Succuso. Looking forward to seeing you out there!”

Yes is streaming an early take of “I’ve Seen All Good People” as the first preview to the November 24 release of a Super Deluxe Edition of its 1971 project, “The Yes Album.”
The band’s third studio record – and first with guitarist Steve Howe – delivered their commercial breakthrough while reaching the UK Top 5 and US Top 40 thanks to instant classics like “Yours Is No Disgrace” and "Starship Trooper."
The 2023 4CD, Blu-ray and LP package presents a newly remastered version of “The Yes Album” expanded with rarities, two previously unreleased concerts, and fresh mixes by Steven Wilson, including an immersive Dolby Atmos Mix.
“The Yes Album (Super Deluxe Edition)” includes Wilson’s newly remastered version of the original album on both CD and LP. Two previously unreleased concerts from 1971 will debut in the set as well: the first was recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden just a few weeks before “The Yes Album” was released, while the second was recorded six months later during a New Haven, CT stop on the band’s US tour.
"The Yes Album represents to me the invention of 70's Yes,” says Howe. “This was aided by leaving outside material off the record and heavily investing in the influences we brought together, particularly the arrangement skills and utilizing the available best technology. Our adventurism shows in the originality of the music and lyrics, as none of us had done anything quite like this before."
“It’s wonderful to know that 50 years later our music is still appreciated,” adds singer Jon Anderson. “It was a ‘make or break’ time for the band on many levels. The harmony within the band was really special at that time, and it came through in the music.”

Yes will release a new collection of the band’s biggest hits this fall.
Due October 6, “Yessingles” presents rare single versions of 12 of the group’s classic songs chronologically through their legendary career, starting in 1971 with the group’s first Top 40 hit, “Your Move,” and ending in 1984 with its smash, “Leave It.”
In between, the set touches on the band’s different eras, ranging from intricate prog-rock tapestries like “Starship Trooper” and “America” to its chart-topping sensation, “Owner Of A Lonely Heart.”
“Yessingles” will be available on 140-gram black vinyl and a special splatter-vinyl version at local retailers; the package is being launched with the Promo Radio Edit version of “And You And I (Part One)”, which is now available digitally for the first time.
