VIDEO: Black Star Riders discuss debut album on France’s TV Rock Live

Black Star Riders sat down with France’s TV Rock Live recently to discuss their forthcoming debut album, “All Hell Breaks Loose,” due late next month.

Singer Ricky Warwick and guitarist Scott Gorham share some stories about the origin of the group’s band name, the album’s title, songwriting, and recording the project with producer Kevin Shirley.

“He [Shirley] works extremely quick,” explains Gorham. “I didn’t actually realize we were going to record the album this way. The mantra is 12 songs in 12 days … and that’s basically what happened. You’ve got your road crew bringing your live gear into the studio, setting it up, and you kind of look over at the drummer and you say, ‘Alright, Jimmy, count us in,’ and you’re off and running. By the end of the day, you have everything on that track done.”

Black Star Riders recently released their debut single, “Bound For Glory.”
