Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo spoke about the band’s future in an interview on the red carpet at the 9th annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit concert at Club Nokia in Los Angeles last Thursday.
DeLeo explained that the group is planning to write and record new music and hit the road for some live shows.
Since the February firing of Scott Weiland, STP have regrouped with new lead singer Chester Bennington of Linkin Park.
The new STP lineup have released a single, “Out Of Time,” with Bennington and are offering it to fans as a free download (here).
