James Durbin will release the video for “Stand Up” on January 24.
The track was the first solo single released by the American Idol rocker, arriving last September, two months before Durbin’s debut, “Memories Of A Beautiful Disaster,” hit stores.
The song was featured in season-launching marketing campaign by the NFL, and appeared on volume 2 of the Official Gameday Music of the NFL EP, which also included tunes by Jordin Sparks, Darius Rucker, Hinder and Sammy Hagar.
There will be two versions of the “Stand Up” video - ESPN.com will also be featuring a "sports" version of the video, since the song is a natural sports anthem.
“Stand Up” follows the current video single, “Love Me Bad,” which James will be performing on Conan Thursday night (tonight).
James continues to get support from rock fans, as he was recently named #9 on the 2011 hennemusic Rock News Artist of The Year list – read more here.
