AUDIO: Glee covers Van Halen’s Hot For Teacher

Holy hell.

Van Halen is being covered on Glee this week.

The same band that Ricky Gervais said had gone out of their way to ban Karl Pilkington’s version of “Jump” on his “An Idiot Abroad” series in America, has allowed “Hot For Teacher” to be used by the US program Glee.

This week’s episode isn’t the first time someone in the VH camp approved the rights to use one of their songs: Glee has done “Jump” before on the program, and used it as part of their national touring company.
