AUDIO: Alter Bridge stream new track The Other Side

Alter Bridge are streaming the track “The Other Side”, from their forthcoming album, “The Last Hero.”

Due October 7, the project was recorded earlier this year with longtime producer Michael 'Elvis' Baskette.

The group’s fifth studio album follows 2013’s “Fortress”, which debuted at No. 12 on the US Billboard 200 chart following first week sales of 30,000.

“The Other Side” follows the lead single, “Show Me A Leader”, and follow-ups “My Champion” and “Poison In Your Veins” as the fourth song issued ahead of the album’s release.

Alter Bridge are currently playing a series of US headline dates to promote “The Last Hero.”

David Bowie singles collection Legacy due this fall

A collection of David Bowie’s biggest singles will be featured on “Legacy”, a new compilation due November 11.

The set presents Bowie’s first hit, 1969’s “Space Oddity”, through to his final 2016 singles “Lazarus” and “I Can’t Give Everything Away”, and includes a previously unreleased version of the classic 1971 single, “Life On Mars?”, mixed by its original producer Ken Scott.

Single mixes and radio edits of several Bowie classics are featured, including “Starman”, “The Jean Genie”, “Young Americans,” “Ashes To Ashes”, “Let’s Dance”, “China Girl” and “Modern Love.”

Collaborations with Queen, Mick Jagger, The Pet Shop Boys and The Pat Metheny Group are also included.

“Legacy” will be available as a 1 CD and a Deluxe 2 CD package, with a double vinyl album version due on January 6, 2017.

Born David Jones in London in 1947, the singer issued his first single at the age of 17 and changed his last name to Bowie in 1966 – to avoid confusion with Davey Jones of The Monkees – ahead of the release of his self-titled debut album a year later.

The 1969 single, “Space Oddity”, put Bowie on the map and led to the beginnings of a groundbreaking catalogue that saw the singer push the creative envelope while exploring various genres as a musical chameleon.

The music icon sold an estimated 140 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

Bowie passed away on January 10, just two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his final album, “Blackstar.”

Queen to release On Air The Complete BBC Radio Sessions

Queen will release “Queen On Air: The Complete BBC Radio Sessions” on November 4.

Available as a 2-CD, 3-LP and Collector’s Edition 6-CD set complete with added live concert broadcasts and radio interviews, the package presents all six BBC Sessions by the group recorded between February 1973 and October 1977.

The twenty-four recordings these sessions produced include alternate versions of the band’s debut single, 1973’s “Keep Yourself Alive”, unique takes of classic album tracks and even a radically reworked version of one of their best known anthems that has never previously appeared on any Queen studio release.

Queen’s very first session for the BBC dates from February 1973, five months before the release of the band’s self-titled debut album and single.

The band’s sixth and final session, in October 1977, saw Queen record some radically different versions of four songs from the “News Of The World” album on the same day as its UK release: “Spread Your Wings,” “It’s Late,” “My Melancholy Blues,” and two renditions of “We Will Rock You” – the ‘regular’ version and the ‘fast’ version – the only known studio recording of this live favourite.

The 6-CD Deluxe Edition includes "Queen Live On Air" – a single disc featuring highlights of three live concert broadcasts: Queen live at the Golders Green Hippodrome in September 1973, their first concert to be transmitted on radio anywhere in the world; Queen performing in Brazil at Sao Paulo’s gigantic Morumbi stadium to a record-setting audience of 131,000 originally aired live on radio and TV in March 1981 on the Badeirantes network during the band’s infamous South America Bites The Dust tour; and, Queen’s final live concert radio broadcast, aired less than four weeks before their last show with Freddie Mercury, from Mannheim Germany in June 1986 during the Magic Tour.

The Deluxe Edition of “Queen On Air” also comes with a booklet of rare photographs and sleeve notes compiled by band archivist Greg Brooks, featuring memories from the band and BBC producers Jeff Griffin and Bernie Andrews, plus comments from legendary Radio 1 DJs John Peel and Bob Harris from the time of the original broadcasts.

Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow to release live DVD from 2016 shows

Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow will release “Memories In Rock - Live In Germany” on DVD+2CD, Blu-ray+2CD, and digital formats on November 18.

The set captures the guitarist’s return to the rock stage for the first time in two decades this past June with a new lineup for a pair of Monsters Of Rock festivals in Germany; they also played a third date in the UK.

The setlist for both events mixed Rainbow tracks “Man On The Silver Mountain”, “Long Live Rock ‘N’ Roll” and “Stargazer”, among others, with Deep Purple classics like “Highway Star”, “Child In Time”, “Mistreated”, “Perfect Strangers” and “Smoke On The Water.”

Blackmore last performed rock in 1997 while touring in support of Rainbow’s eighth album, “Stranger In Us All.” That same year he went on to form the medieval folk band Blackmore’s Night with then-girlfriend and now-wife Candice Night, and the group has gone on to release ten albums.

“Memories In Rock - Live In Germany” will also be issued as a deluxe version (DVD, Blu-ray and 2CD in a 48-page hardback photobook) and a 3LP version (180-gram vinyl) on December 2.

Soundgarden guitarist shares new album update

Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil is sharing an update on the Seattle band’s follow-up album to 2012’s “King Animal.”

The rocker admits band member’s commitments to Pearl Jam and the upcoming Temple Of The Dog reunion have impacted the pace of the project, which is in the demo stage.

"Right now, there are some other projects that are taking up bandmembers' time,” Thayil tells Whiplash with Full Metal Jackie of KLOS Los Angeles (audio below). “Matt's [Cameron] got some Pearl Jam touring and projects. Matt and Chris [Cornell] together, of course, are working on this Temple Of The Dog thing.

“Over the past year, we’ve had a number of songwriting and jam sessions, Soundgarden, getting together to simply exchange ideas and document and record them. So we’ve had some rough demos of a dozen or so songs. We’ll continue to do this as everyone’s schedules open up. Hopefully next year we’ll find ourselves in the studio fleshing out these ideas.”

Thayil’s update confirms the progress on Soundgarden’s next record is now up to a dozen demos, and follows comments made by Cameron in July that six tunes were taking shape at that time with another writing session scheduled for last month.

“King Animal” marked the reunited Seattle band’s first studio album in 16 years.

The project debuted and peaked at No. 5 on the US Billboard 200 with opening week sales of 83,000 copies.

Temple Of The Dog’s lineup of Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell, Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready, and drummer Matt Cameron – who plays with both bands – are regrouping to perform this fall in support of the 25th anniversary reissue.

The group’s first-ever tour will see the supergroup perform eight concerts in five cities starting in Philadelphia, PA on November 4.

VIDEO: Green Day open Revolution Radio tour in Columbus

Green Day opened the Revolution Radio North American club tour at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH on September 26 and video from the show has surfaced online.

“Green Day has long combined the sneering three-chord energy of foundational punk with Saturday-morning-cartoon accessibility,” writes Brad Keefe of Columbus Alive. “In a word, its live show was … fun. The musicians burst out of the starting gate with a joy and energy that lasted through a 25-song set that pushed two hours. The setlist dove deep into the band’s biggest albums, including 1994’s ‘Dookie’ and 2004’s ‘American Idiot’, but wove in tracks from throughout its catalog.”

The Columbus show became opening night of the Bay Area band’s rare club tour after the band postponed the first three dates due to an illness “affecting several members of the band and its crew.”

Originally scheduled to open in St. Louis, MO on September 20, the group also postponed stops in Chicago, IL (Sep. 21) and Detroit, MI (Sep 24), while a Toronto, ON appearance at the World Cup Of Hockey Fan Village on September 23 was canceled.

Due October 7, “Revolution Radio” was recorded at Billie Joe Armstrong’s new studio in Oakland, CA.

VIDEO: Rik Emmett debuts Human Race featuring Alex Lifeson of Rush

Rik Emmett is joined by Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson on “Human Race”, a track from the former Triumph frontman’s forthcoming album, “RES9”, now streaming as a lyric video.

“When Rik asked me to play on his new album, I didn’t hesitate for a second,” explains Lifeson. “He’s the consummate musician, a wonderful guitarist, and a terrific person, and it’s always my pleasure to work with him any chance I can get.

“There is a rock purity in his songwriting and performance, and it’s just so much fun to get together and throw ideas around. He’s always so up and open for anything – even a notoriously uncooperative Rickenbacker 12-string!”

Due November 11, the project by Emmett and his touring band Resolution 9 – featuring guitarist Dave Dunlop, bassist Steve Skingley and drummer Paul DeLong – delivers new music with the help of guest appearances by Lifeson, Dream Theater’s James LaBrie and a reunion with Triumph members Mike Levine and Gil Moore.

Lifeson sits in on “Human Race” and joins LaBrie on “End Of The Line”, with the vocalist also contributing to the track “I Sing.”

The Triumph appearance on the bonus track, “Grand Parade”, marks the first time the trio have reunited on record in three decades following Emmett’s split from the group in 1988.

“This album represents a journey through my life,” explains Emmett, “and the idea behind a lot of these songs is me trying to figure out who I am, and why I’m doing what I’m doing. There’s a common thread of positivity here that ties into the records I was making 30 years ago. What did I learn from making them? You’ll hear all of that echoed in the grooves of this album.”

VIDEO: Joe Walsh performs Rocky Mountain Way on Conan

Joe Walsh performed his 1973 classic, “Rocky Mountain Way”, with The Basic Cable Band on TBS’ late night show Conan on September 26.

“I was mowing the lawn in Boulder, CO,” said Walsh of the lyrical inspiration for the tune, written after his departure from The James Gang. “I looked up and saw the mountains and the back range and I thought ‘this is better than the way I had.’

“And I got the words; I mean all at once. I ran in the house to write the words down, but the lawnmower kept going … over into the neighbour lady’s garden. It was an expensive song to write.”

The performance followed an extensive interview that saw the Eagles guitarist share a story of trashing a penthouse hotel room with actor John Belushi back in the70s, a feat that cost him $23,000.

“My job,” said Walsh, “was to get across the state line before the maid saw the room.”

The guitarist was on hand to promote his involvement in writing a song for the new film “Citizen Soldier”, which documents a group of soldiers in the Oklahoma Army National Guard’s 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team – known since World War II as the “Thunderbirds” – and their life-changing tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Walsh recently wrapped up his latest solo tour of North America.

The Rolling Stones are sharing a video preview of their Cuban concert film, “Havana Moon”, which will be released on November 11.

The March 25, 2016 event saw the group perform their first-ever concert in Cuba during a groundbreaking free show before an estimated crowd of 1.2 million fans that also marked the first open air concert in the country by a British rock band.

Mick Jagger welcomed the massive crowd who had come to watch the historic show: “Finally the times are changing, Cuba we are so happy to be here,” and joked with his bandmates during the performance, describing them as “The Revolutionary Ronnie Wood…Charlie Che Watts….Compadre Keith Richards”

Named after a Chuck Berry song and directed by Paul Dugdale, “Havana Moon” features a setlist of classics including “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll”, “Honky Tonk Women”, “Start Me Up”, “Brown Sugar” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

Following its September 23 premiere in cinemas worldwide, “Havana Moon” will be available in various packages, including DVD+2CD, Blu-ray+2CD, DVD+3LP plus a special Deluxe Edition.

The Rolling Stones return to the US for a series of live dates next month, including performances at the Desert Trip festival in Indio, CA on October 7 and 14, and shows in Las Vegas on October 19 and 22.

VIDEO: Metallica perform on The Howard Stern Show

Metallica performed a mix of new and classic tracks during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM on Monday, and official video from the program is available.

On hand to promote the November 18 release of their new album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct”, the group performed the project’s lead single, “Hardwired”, alongside the title track to 1986’s “Master Of Puppets” and “Sad But True” from 1991’s self-titled “Black” album.

"There's no shortage of ideas," bassist Robert Trujillo told Stern about the new record. "Our thing is that there's too many ideas … it's a blessing and a curse."

Frontman James Hetfield says that resting on their history just isn’t in the cards for Metallica.

"You don't retire as an artist. You just keep doing what you do," explained Hetfeild. "We know that route, where you don't make any more albums and you kind of just end up on the fairs playing your hits. That is an option but we don't want that option right now."

Despite selling more than 100 million albums worldwide, drummer Lars Ulrich maintains the group just doesn’t fit into the mainstream.

"All of us, in ways, have always felt kind of like outsiders," he told Stern. "I still feel like we always hover on the outer fringes, that we're never a part of the establishment."

Metallica will perform a pair of acoustic sets at Neil Young’s 30th anniversary Bridge School Benefit Concert in late October before officially launching the first leg of the Hardwired world tour in San Juan, Puerto Rico on October 26.

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry updates solo album plans

Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry reveals that he has completed recording his latest solo album.

“It’s in the can right now. I just need to polish it up a bit more,” Perry tells The Musician’s Ear. “I’m looking to release some of it in the new year.”

Perry has been working on the project in a California studio on and off over the past year while Aerosmith has been on hiatus and juggling live duties with the Alice Cooper-led supergroup The Hollywood Vampires.

In April, Perry premiered the single, “I’ll Do Happiness”, featuring UK vocalist Terry Reid, and confirmed the addition of Iggy Pop, David Johansen and Zak Starkey to the project.

Asked if he still feels that he has lots of riffs left to discover, Perry adds, “That’s why I keep making solo records. I’m still searching for those things. I’ve still got lots of riffs inside me, and lots of riffs on my iPhone. (laughs) They need to get transferred onto some kind of recording format with some bass and drums.”

The latest project will mark Perry’s seventh solo release, including three records under The Joe Perry Project banner.

Aerosmith performed their first show of 2016 at the Kaboo Festival in Del Mar, CA on September 17 and will launch a South American tour in Bogota, Colombia on September 29.

VIDEO: Megadeth premiere Dystopia track Conquer Or Die

Megadeth are premiering a video for “Conquer Or Die”, an instrumental track from their latest album, “Dystopia.”

The tune features guitar work by leader Dave Mustaine and new addition Kiko Loureiro, formerly of Brazilian band Angra, who replaced outgoing member Chris Broderick after he left the group in 2014.

“I first met Kiko around 8 years ago for a cover shoot for Burrn! Magazine,” explains Mustaine. “I had no idea who he was, other than the fact he was tremendously talented and that the staff from Burrn! held him in high regard. Since then I've come to see what a guitar virtuoso he is, and I'm deeply encouraged by his depth and talent.

“Very few Megadeth alumni have had the same feel and ability as Kiko. As Frank Sinatra says, ‘the best is yet to come!’"

Megadeth recently confirmed the addition of Dirk Verbeuren, formerly of Swedish metal band Soilwork, as the group’s new drummer after Lamb Of God’s Chris Adler recorded “Dystopia” and performed early dates on the current world tour.

Last week, Megadeth launched a fall US tour with guests Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church and Havok.

VIDEO: Metallica premiere new track Moth Into Flame

Metallica have released a video for “Moth Into Flame”, as the latest preview to their forthcoming album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct.”

“As some of you accurately predicted, we gave it the first public spin while hanging out with our great friend Howard Stern this morning in his New York studio,” says the band. “Sitting and chatting with Howard is one our favorite things to do and we were honored that he offered to play it first and let us perform a few additional songs live while we were there. We’re also excited to debut the corresponding video directed by Tom Kirk of Muse fame.”

“Moth To Flame” follows the lead track, “Hardwired”, as the second taste of Metallica’s tenth album.

Due November 18, the two-disc set was produced by Greg Fidelman, guitarist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich.

A Deluxe Edition of the package adds a bonus disc of covers and rarities in place of a planned “Riff Origins” set.

Metallica are playing a fan club members-only show at Webster Hall in New York on September 27 and will perform on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 29.

Metallica have announced a series of events in New York City this week following their appearance at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival concert in Central Park on Saturday.

The band are promoting the November 18 release of their new album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct.”

“We’ve been invited back to chat with our great friend and always loyal Metallica supporter Howard Stern this Monday, September 26th and he’s even asked us play a few songs live!,” says the band. “Tune into The Howard Stern Show on Howard Stern’s exclusive SiriusXM channel Howard 100 and if you don’t have a SiriusXM subscription, the great team there has set it up so that you can still check out the show at siriusxm.com/howardfreetrial.

“Later that day, we’ll record a special edition of SiriusXM’s Town Hall series answering questions from a select group listeners in the SiriusXM studios in New York City. The Town Hall special, hosted by music journalist, SiriusXM host and another long time great friend to the band, David Fricke, will air on the Mandatory Metallica channel, which makes a return on Wednesday, November 16th, two days before Hardwired… hits the streets.”

After performing a five-song set of classics at the Global Citizen event, Metallica immediately announced plans for another special fan event.

“We just walked off the stage at the Global Citizen show in New York’s Central Park and we had such a blast that we’re going to keep the good vibes rolling by adding another show to our New York run!,” the group revealed. “This Tuesday, September 27th, we’ll be playing a special show for our Fifth Members only at the intimate Webster Hall and if you’re a member you have a chance to pick up tickets and join us.

“It’s easy... click here to enter to win an opportunity to purchase up to two tickets per member. Tickets will be $25.00 each and all the proceeds will be donated to City Harvest. Hurry! Entries close today, Sunday, September 25 at 6:45 PM EDT. All winners will be e-mailed a personal code and more details about how to purchase tickets to the exclusive one-of-a-kind show.

"If you can get to New York City from wherever you are this Tuesday evening, check it out now. Hope to see you there!”

Later in the week, Metallica will perform on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, September 29.

The band’s tenth studio album, “Hardwired…To Self Destruct” has been launched with the lead track, “Hardwired.”

VIDEO: Metallica perform at Global Citizen Festival

Metallica performed at the fifth annual Global Citizen festival in New York’s Central Park on September 24 and video of their full set is available.

Opening with the 1984 classic, “For Whom The Bell Tolls”, the group played the title track to 1986’s “Master Of Puppets”, “One” from 1988’s “…And Justice For All”, and closed with a pair of tracks from 1991’s self-titled “Black” album: “Nothing Else Matters” and “Enter Sandman.”

Curated by Coldplay singer Chris Martin, the event is part of a continued effort to end extreme poverty by 2030, as proposed by the United Nationals Sustainable Developmental Goals.

By contributing to charity acts on the website – including watching videos and signing petitions – people earned points to get free tickets to the festival.

"Over the last five years, Global Citizens around the world have taken more than 6 million actions in the fight against extreme poverty - actions that are set to affect the lives of over 650 million of the world's most marginalized people,” says Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans. “This year's festival - and this incredible lineup - is an annual touch point to hold our world leaders to account on their commitments to solve the world's biggest problems."

The festival – which also featured Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Demi Lovato and others – was broadcast by MSNBC and msnbc.com and streamed online via YouTube.

VIDEO: Bruce Springsteen interviewed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Bruce Springsteen discussed his memoir, “Born To Run”, at length during an extended interview on CBS-TV’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on September 23, and video of the full session is available.

Springsteen revealed his two earliest music influences were seeing Elvis Presley and The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, originally broadcast from the same studios as Colbert’s current program.

The New Jersey rocker shared stories about his relationship with his father and his Catholic upbringing, how both impacted his songwriting, and how his lengthy, 4-hour concerts helped him find some peace.

"I was this incredibly neurotic young kid [with] a lot of anxiety, which I didn't know how to chase away," Springsteen told Colbert. "So all I found out was after I played, I calmed down. I felt very centered. It may explain why it goes on so long. It was an easy drug to take."

"The band doesn't complain until around three hours and 40 minutes," he added about the experience. "It's that last 20 minutes that for some reason even makes the E Street Band [angry]… slightly, someone may mention it to me. Why they go that long? I'm not exactly sure. I've been doing it for a long time."

Springsteen also named his top five favorite songs from his extensive catalogue.

Due September 27 via Simon & Schuster, “Born To Run” sees Springsteen share his life story for the first time alongside the newly-issued “Chapter And Verse”, a collection of unreleased and classic tracks that doubles as an audio companion to the memoir.

The singer will support both projects with a 9-city book tour starting in Freehold, NJ on September 27.

Led Zeppelin: BBC Sessions delivers highest UK chart position in 37 years

Led Zeppelin’s expanded reissue package, “The Complete BBC Sessions”, has delivered the band their highest UK chart position in more than three decades.

Vintage Vinyl News reports the project – which presents live recordings selected from Led Zeppelin’s appearances on BBC Radio between 1969 and 1971 – enters the Official Album Charts at No. 3, marking the highest UK chart spot for the group since 1979’s “In Through The Out Door” landed at No. 1.

Since that time, the band’s best showings were "Coda" (1982 / No .4), "Mothership" (2007 / No. 4) and "Celebration Day" (2012 / No. 4).

“The Complete BBC Sessions” is also the UK’s top selling Vinyl Album and Rock & Metal Album this past week.

“It’s a historical document,” declared producer and guitarist Jimmy Page at a BBC Sessions launch event in London on September 14 carried by hennemusic. “It’s sort of Led Zeppelin’s promotion. It’s them going full-throttle, they’re taking no prisoners when they’re going in on these sessions. And yet, it’s still employing all of the dynamics and the improvisation.”

“It’s a great time capsule,” he adds. “It’s really cool – you hear the band progressing over, not even a handful of years, just from 1969 to 1971. My goodness, it’s only two years and yet it’s expanding and expanding. It’s cool.”

"The Complete BBC Sessions" is available in multiple formats, including 3CD and 5LP Deluxe Editions, digital download and a 3CD/5LP Super Deluxe Boxed Set.

Green Day issue lyric video for Still Breathing

Green Day are premiering a lyric video for “Still Breathing,” a track from their forthcoming album, “Revolution Radio.”

"That was a very heavy song," Billie Joe Armstrong tells Rolling Stone. “Sometimes I run away from being too heavy. But sometimes it just comes out that way."

The chorus, "I'm still breathing on my own" alludes to the fact that "at some point, we're all going to have to be on life support," he adds. "As time goes on, your thoughts get darker."

Due October 7, the band’s 12th album was recorded at Armstrong’s new studio in Oakland, CA.

“Still Breathing” is the third tune issued ahead of the project’s release, following the lead single, “Bang Bang”, and the title track.

Green Day will launch a rare North American club tour at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH on September 26 after postponing the first three dates due to an illness “affecting several members of the band and its crew.”

Iron Maiden announce UK tour

Iron Maiden have announced dates for a 2017 UK tour in support of 2015’s “The Book Of Souls.”

The band’s first major UK arena tour in six years will be preceded next spring by a series of European arena shows starting in Antwerp, Belgium on April 22, marking the group’s first visit to the city since 1981.

A dozen UK arena dates will begin May 4 at Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena, with Shinedown opening all 16 shows of the spring 2017 trek.

“As it’s been so long since our last full UK arena tour, we really wanted to get to our fans in as many cities as possible,” says bassist and founder Steve Harris. “We’re really looking forward to it, especially visiting places we haven’t been to for a very long time like Leeds where we haven’t played since 2005 and Liverpool where we haven’t played since 1990.

“The whole band is really enjoying this tour and although we love playing festivals and stadiums, it is terrific to return to the intimacy and atmosphere of arenas. The songs from The Book Of Souls album and the new Maya-themed Eddies and stage sets have gone down really well and fan reaction has been amazing. And of course we know our fans appreciate us playing a lot of the older songs too, which we will continue to do.”

There will be an exclusive pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members, details of which can be found on IronMaiden.com, along with information on how Fan Club members can participate in the draw to be "First To The Barrier."

Iron Maiden continue to be actively dedicated to ensuring their fans always have full access to the best possible tickets in the fairest possible way. After great feedback to last year's North American trial of the concept, Maiden fans in the UK will – for the first time – be able to enjoy a Trooper VIP Upgrade package that will allow them early access to the venue, a pile of Trooper goodies and swag, Trooper beers, food and a designated area to meet with other fans, together with the opportunity to win some great prizes. The upgrade packages are available at £140 from TrooperVIP.com. The concert ticket must be purchased separately.

General public tickets for the 2017 dates are on sale from 9 a.m. on September 30 via LiveNation.co.uk.

"The Book Of Souls" world tour opened in Florida in February 2016 visiting 36 countries using their new 747 jumbo jet Ed Force One piloted by singer Bruce Dickinson, which flew band, crew and 22 tons of equipment over 61,500 miles (99,000 km) across six continents during the 72-date leg, playing to around 1.5 million fans.
